Still see them used far too much all over youtube. But the whole hating on bases thing is ridiculous. The hate on scarfs, understandable. The hate on bases, no.

Yeah. My families last name being Barrett is great. Better be care then with your last name. You might end up on the accidental incest subreddit.

Not particularily cause of the lack of detail put into scarf figures, but the failure to come up with something unique and interesting while trying desperatly to gather attention. The thing is, that popularity should be earned by putting effort into something. Every Scarf OC pulls the same thing, either throw a scarf on a stickfigure then call it a day by giving it every OP power in the book or throw a few more segments on it. Scarf figures are so oversaturated that characters like Heckray and Son Goku are rather boring due to their uniqueness being stolen. Heckray atleast gets the acception due to him trying to expand on that idea but at the same time, keeping in mind that he was the one who brought the scarf thing to SN. I could go on for days about it. When I first showed up in this community back in 2014, things were simple, inspired by pivot, but expanded upon creating something much more interesting and intriging. Then I came back in 2016, made my own OC after seeing already that 300 other people have recycled the same exact design. But these people at that time sat there, hanging onto the idea that they were popular and succeeded. They thought they were making something interesting. It actually got frustrating seeing these people try the same thing over and over again. So I took the idea of an advanced military robot that utilized technology and weaponry to win it’s battles. People proceeded to do the same thing, making their OCs with the most generic and overused accessory. Then I decided I need to bring up the viewpoint that this design is overused. Epitaph and some other people also where doing the same thing. This amount of pressure on the scarf trend created this so called “hate”, but really people are just seeing how annoying they really are. SN will never get any respect from outside communities if it isn’t creative.

Sure. If it is attached to the gun.

That would make sense if he doesn’t talk and hasn’t spoke for a while.

Sounds different and interesting. A mute character that utilizes a flamethrower.
