• Abeer is done. So now all 3 of the main characters are ready for animation. Already did one test
animation which you may have seen already.

Now I’m going to go back in test all the figures, and fix any issues I may have missed or forgotten. Like the thumbs on Flame are outdated for example. Little things like that I’m going to go in and start fixing, shouldn’t take too much time. After all 3 are fully checked and fixed up, I’ll move on to other figures for episode 1, or who are just important to the series in general.

It worked. It’s going to be a bit annoying to animate with as I’ll have to move the polyfill into place, though it looks a lot better.

That actually could work, I’ll try that and see how it goes, thanks for the help

  • Abeer is nearly done. I have 2 main issues left to solve, being making her leg muscles look better as I don’t like them currently, they look throw in last minutes (they were).

Additionally, I’d like to make the lappet of her crown move better. As you can see it clips when moving and I’m trying to figure out how to make it move without clipping. Anyone have any ideas?

  • Progress update with Abeer.

Both legs are close to completion. Originally I thought they were finished but seeing as they lack any muscles shown, I changed my mind and I’m going to try and add a little something to each just so they’re not too plain.

Not too much left with her as well. Besides her thumbs and maybe a chain hood every remaining figure has been started. Hopefully the new update comes out soon as I’d like to finish her crown using polyfill.

Adding to what Gigan said, I fell into the same pitfall myself where my characters end up looking the same. I think if you haven’t planned to already, you should rework both of their faces.

Doesn’t have to be anything major, but small tweaks like moving the jawline, nose shape, eye size/shape, etc all add up quickly.

Same goes for proportions. You have a solid base to work off of, so maybe try making one slightly taller. Maybe one of them has a longer upper torso while the other a longer lower torso. Different size heads, hairlines, etc. I don’t think this would require and major changes since again you have the foundation right.

  • I’m really speedrunning Abeer, now her back arm is done.

Currently I just have her legs, thumbs, crown, and body on the list left to finish or make. I’m hopeful that I can get her done by mid November at the latest.

After she’s done I’m going to start
practicing animation to really make these models worth it.

Happy little coincidence. The name is an actual Egyptian name and means fragrance. Plus a strongwoman by the same name won a gold medal in powerlifting. A Beer is the cherry on top.
