I think Ralph said it pretty well. The design is just a bit lack luster at the moment, which is understandable you’ve just started SN.
I can somewhat see what you’re going for with the character, so I think the best thing you can do is work off if a base. Nicky made a pretty good one a while back which you can find on the site. I think it would fit the style you’re going for.
Additionally, I’d recommend watching shows which have 4 armed characters to see how they animated them. That way you can see what’s the best way to either save time or how to use the extra 2 arms to your advantage.
Finally, try watching some videos on character design or look around at characters on the site. That way you can get an idea of what’s good, what’s bad, and how to just generally improve.

@cheesebiscuit As you requested
Made it yesterday soon after you asked. Not very well made but was nice to try to experiment with sprites in animation.
(gif below, it wouldn’t embed on this post. Embed failure indeed)

Little animation I put together. The hurt animation is a few years old but the punching is of course brand new. I think it’s the best animation I’ve ever made. Plus it only took maybe 20 minutes to make which is even better. 24FPS. More improvements can be made but I’ll have to keep practicing first. Also, this is a reference to a certain wrestler so bonus points of you know who. Anyway I have additional Corrupted related news but I’ll save it for tomorrow.

Where’s the concern/confusion coming from?

This figure has been in the works since around April or May, so that would make this around a 4-5 month long figure. The character however is just around 5 years old now.

Old head for reference

Flame is coming together nicely and is almost finished. As you may notice here the head has been redone entirely. I didn’t like the old one as it was so far different from the art and vision I had. Took a few days but it looks very close to how I wanted it to be. I still have a few key things left to do like figure out his color scheme, fix up the hair, and make his mouths. But generally speaking, the figure is finally coming to a close.

Really, really like the new head
Looks more natural and just more visually pleasing in my opinion
-
his pecs could solve world hunger

How long have you been working on this stk I’m actually getting confused
