Oh no sorry for the phrasing. It’s 4. I was just discussing the base head figure.

Thanks Fedora, I appreciate the kind words dude. I look forward to showing off more as time goes on. It’s not going to be easy but it defiantly will be worth it.

I appreciate that, thanks Manny. I was iffy with the figure when I first started but I’ve really started to love it once I was nearing the end. Plus adding the hair from V5 back as well as everything else sealed the deal for me.

As always I’ve very grateful, thanks man.

Good idea with the head shine. I completely forgot about using it in V5. Additionally, the chin shading is technically there still, but the beard really covers it.

I’ll have to do some optimization on the head first since it’s only 1 node away from max. But both seem easily possible with just a few nodes each.

  • Second update of the day for V6.

Excluding any minor fixes like clipping or enhancements, as well as any advice on what can be improved that’s implemented, the head for V6 is finished. 710 nodes which is a lot more then I was hoping for. But regardless it’s done.

As stated before, the neck may be moved onto the body if there’s space nodes wise/it makes sense to do. So far the current figures are the head, hair, collar, and shades.

Next will be the body. The goal is to keep this thing under 2.5K nodes, but we will see. I’m going to try to optimize it all at the end but I’m not sure how much is possible.

Finally, included below is a evolution chart of all the mainline Flame heads. This started in Mid-Late 2018 up until now. Pretty awesome to see how much Flame had changed in these 5 or so years.

I think maybe adding head shine or detail would help the sort of empty space , as well as shading under the chin

I believe you were actually the person all those years ago who told me how to fix the hair and face.

Thank you by the way. I’m really grateful for everyone’s help with this version of Flame. I’m excited to finish him and eventually make all the characters for the show. Should be awesome in the end.

  • More Flame V6 progress my friends.

The shades have been remade and a neck has been added. I may change the color of the shades, but I’ll have to do some testing with it first.

I may change it so that the neck connects to the body instead, but I’ll have to see. I’ll be making the collar it’s own figure but I’ll be sure to make it in a way so that it can just be pasted on in case there’s space on the body figure if I move the next there.

Additionally, I’ll be adding an outline to the hair made by Scout for V5. I wanted to do everything myself but I’ll make that the exception since he made it exact to the reference drawing I made for V5. So there’s really no reason to try to remake it when it already looks as good as can be.

    I apologize for the delay.

Thank you again for the complements on Flame. You’ve been a major help with making him, and defiant inspiration to keep going. Also, I still appreciate you offering to work on the head. Though it’s great that I was able to cover everything you would have done.

Additionally, thanks for offering help with the musculature. I’ll defiantly reach out on that. I’ve been improving on it myself, but I could always use more help. I’ll update you once I’m up to the muscles.

Thanks Lemon, I really appreciate it man.

With the hair, I see it as well. Though it’s practically the same as the drawn alternative so I’m going to tweak it and try to make it work.

  • I think I’m done with Flame-V6’s head. Granted there may be more added/fixed but it will no longer be my focus.

Currently the shades shouldn’t be hard so that may be next. Plus his neck which may need to be added to the head figure. But the next big one should be his body.

Anyway, I’ll still of course take any advice on the figure, but I just can’t say when I’ll be able to implement it after today or tomorrow.

Lastly, I want to thank everyone’s who helped me on the figure. You’ve all really pushed me to make this side project a lot more important than planned. With your help this figure looks amazing. So thank you all for the help, I’m incredibly grateful for everything.

(P.S. the picture with both Flame’s looking at each other is slightly out of date, but it’s practically the same as the other photo).

Go for it, just know though, these are all awesome. I can’t wait to see where you go with the rest of it. I couldn’t find a way to really toy with the head but you’ve done everything I would’ve added so no need to show you for example’s sake.

If you ever need any help with the musculature etc I’d be willing to lend a hand, I’m no expert but I love that kind of stuff and have messed around with it many times, your call.
