Ok, folks. Technically, I’m not supposed to be doing this, but I would like to update you guys on the situation.

THE SITUATION:
My mother is thinking. She’s been thinking hard and thinking deep. She’s significantly more trusting than my dad right now, though she is still mad at me for lying to her, perhaps rightfully so.
My father is scared. He’s scared for my safety and for my privacy. He’s seen grooming firsthand and he’s terrified that it’ll happen to me.

THE PLAN:
Firstly, I need to wait. My mother is still upset. According to her, she needs time to get past her emotions and come to a logical conclusion. It may take days, it may take weeks, it may take months. But we will talk about it. She promised, and she almost never makes promises.
As I said, my father is mostly concerned for my safety.
Speaking of my father, @tastylemon16. He’d like to speak with you. I’m not joking. He wants your number. You don’t have to give me your number, obviously, though I would appreciate it.
However, if he’d be willing, I think it’d be better if my father speaks to @ralph, given that he’s the oldest and most trustworthy person on this site. I know it’s a lot to ask, but I need your help, Ralph. You’re the only adult here, and I’m not sure he’ll listen to anyone else.

So, that’s the situation. I may or may not see you guys again. If I am permanently banned, than I’ll be sure to give you guys a formal goodbye. But, for now, peace out.

Folks, I have news. I told my parents about my repeated usage of this site without their permission. Needless to say, they were not happy.

My father is deeply concerned for my safety and my mother is ticked that I disobeyed her. This isn’t my first strike, so to speak, so I’m in hot water. I don’t know if I’ll see you guys again.

I’m not gonna lie, man. I’m scared. I’m scared I’m gonna lose some of my closest friends. But, I can try to stay positive. I followed Ralph’s advice and tried my best not to be a smartass, and I think they’re considering my words.

Best case scenario, I’ll see you guys in a few weeks. Worst case scenario, this is goodbye.

My mom is considering letting me use this site again, so I may have to come clean about having been using it. I’m kinda scared. She can be really unreasonable, especially when it comes to social media and disobeying her. How can I convince her to let me stay on Sticknodes?

This probably sounds silly given that I’m a stranger on the internet who uses an eldritch mass of eyeballs to represent themselves speaking to another random stranger on the internet who uses a sharply dressed lemon to represent themselves, but I’m really thankful for you. For being a mentor. For being a friend.

I think the hardest part of the creative process is accepting that the first version is gonna be terrible.
