How can I make my character work (the “nanite guy”)?
I get what you’re saying, I really do, but nanites aren’t futuristic. The main thing I suppose would be self-replication; I’m fine with removing that.

The whole nanite regeneration thing wouldn’t work. As well if nanomachines would be used in anything, they would use them in humans.
