@ralph Is there a chance you could get this linked with my account?
Remember back in 2014 you went to TDD to ask for Piv2 stks to submit to the database when it was still empty? My submission got accepted before you helped me set up my account years later.
I’m just here to reclaim my stick lol. I’d be grateful if you do me this favor.

Squi tagged me on a post that compares SN with Pivot community, and she asked for my opinion. I was late by 4 days, so I’m putting it out here instead. I’ll talk about what I think of SN community first, then attempt to compare it with Pivot community, and finish with closing thoughts.
(As a disclaimer, I use TDD and Piv interchangeably because TDD is Piv community in its core.)
I like to think of SN community as a reincarnation of the Pivot community. It’s the love child of Darkdemon considering who made SN is an old veteran of that community. Nowadays, other than the few people who have been at Pivot for over a decade, it’s mostly SN in Darkdemon because SN is simply more accessible.
To be quite frank, I wouldn’t mind Pivot dying. It’s honestly a dumb piece of software for more reasons than most people would like to admit. That said, for people like me, it’s just like that one clumsy fellow that you can’t help but like anyway, without knowing really why. That’s where SN takes the spotlight.
What you can do in SN is just insane, and some of what is posted here and outside is a testament to what I say. Ralph, just get the PC version going, and see where the community goes. I would really not mind paying for the download if that’s what it takes.
Now is SN community great? I think that depends on how you perceive it. As a kid who likes le epic Maymays and shitposts, you might enjoy it here, given the fact that there are more shitposts than actual SN content. In contrast, you might dislike Darkdemon for being the flipped version of SN community in that specific aspect. More mature and chill, so that can be regarded as boring. And vice versa for people in the other end of the spectrum. Lots of variables to consider, really.
Ultimately, no two communities are better or worse, especially if they have the same DNA. And wether you like a community or not depends on what kind of person you are. Just get the superiority- inferiority BS out of your head, you guys.

pivot is the main core. and SN is the successor

this, is amazing.
i have mad respects lmao
you managed to compare both communities in a logical sense rather than “what i prefer is better” and its rare to see people like these nowadaysim in love with this post
