I fully agree.
Perhaps sprites should get their own section on the site that cannot get the same rewards as people who genuinely use the technicalities of the app. Drawing something is a lot easier than crafting a rigged animatable figure on sticknodes.
The whole art on this site has always been using the nodes. Most of the badges and events have been revolved around this.Would it really be sticknodes without the nodes?
A balance should be found before its not reversible.Sprites should be downloadable, but merely as a external toolbox.
The real noded figures should be the mainstraim creation.Trust me, once people find out that sprites will get a ton of UC votes. They will abuse it and only post these. Ripping sprites from the internet. Demotivating any real figure creator

Sprite UploadsDo you think that uploading sprites as a movieclip is worthy of a UC vote?

I still believe that your movieclips are just looping. Once they’ve ended they just reloop on the next project frame.
Perhaps provide us with a screen recording of the project frame(s) and the animation itself. That would help a lot

That’s really weird.
Are you sure you haven’t accidentally added something?
I’ve had similar things happen all related to human error. Check these yourself too. They are quite facepalm worthy.
-Applying Tween to effects consisting of multiple figures may result in flickering, like with Explosion1, Explosion2, and Explosion3.
The tween adds frames in between that do not contain the figure that was deleted in the previous scene. Go to the individual ”explosion” figure and enable “keep figure during tweening”-Perhaps it’s a movieclip relooping. I’ve had movieclips that have invisible frames so I usually forget to delete them so they reappear. I movieclip most of my scenes for performance issue.
-Perhaps there’s an auto-camera somewhere that is moving it to frame 1.
Non-Human errors:
-Exceeding the frame limit your device can handle. I’ve had mine nearly explode occasionally.
-Exceeding the node limit (by enabling unlimited nodes in the settings)
-Way too many filters and effects.
-Update the app 🤷♂️If none of these fix the issue, than there is something bigger at play. Contact Ralph so he can provide better help. I do not have technical insides of the app

In all honesty, being in the spam boys section is not necessarily something to be proud of.
Most of the times, it just indicates impulsive posting.
It also means commenting on countless of things with no real added value to the conversation.its not always the case. Sometimes it just means you’ve been well active and productive/helpful.
Find balance between joyfully answering everything. It’ll just be deadweight eventually
This is the second post about the spam bois thing within a 2 hour period. It’s not really useful to anyone besides a self-centered impulsive post.
Show us some figures or animations you’ve made. That’s what we are interested in. We can all the same “spam boys” leaderboard -

I agree with Ralph\’s perspective. The scenes are notably refreshing. During dialogue the characters constantly were doing something, such as pulling out the clipboard or the cam movement.
For the 2 minutes we\’ve seen a lot of different scenery/areas.
In the scene where the soldier is standing between the trees, you\’ve placed a barely noticable car. This is detail a lot of new animators leave out making the scenery look empty.
On top of that it was really well paced. Not too quick where it becomes incomprehensible, but not too slow to fall asleep.I loved that you\’ve added sound to most movements that would create a sound. A wider variety of sounds would have topped it. But hey. using the sounds SN provides its totally fine too! Thats why they exist.
You\’ve also managed to provide a military action that didn\’t feel pointless.
Of course the animation itself has it flaws here and there. Mostly when it comes to momentum/flow. Stuttering. But you\’ve got potential to make interesting well-paced action animation. So keep it up and keep practising

It definitely does mate!
Feels good to see it in action.
A very clean animation. I approve the visual sound effects “pew pew”

Possibility A:
It takes time for the figures to be officially submitted to the site. Approximately 4-8 days depending on the amount submissions.Possibility B:
It got denied. This only happens with figures that are NSFW or figures that are bad quality.
A simple figure that contains a couple nodes will be denied. Example: A horizontal segment on top of a vertical segment and calling it a hammer will just not be viable for submission.Looking at your email, you’ve submitted it on 10 February. So it’ll be definitely possibility A.
Give it some time and it should appear on the site within the end of this week.
(If it were to not be denied due to Possibility B) -

See, thats the issue
Good stuff are made with sprites, but it wouldnt be fair for a sprite mc to get UC.
For ex: I made a snowy forest and snow falling movieclip. But it was made out of sprites. Would it really deserve UC?
They’re useful, they’re cool, but it wouldn’t be fair if say, someone like Gigan were to upload his well made sticks just for a sprite pack of some stock images and filters to get UC and other rewards.
this is a tough one, and it’s why i personally don’t vote for these as UC
they *are* useful, like explosions and effects like that, and probably get downloaded a lot as a result
but imo a UC vote is more of a pat on the back for making a really badass stickfigure
I fully agree.

Thing is…sprites are REVOLUTIONARY!!
But yeah, the opinion’s mutual.
I doubt every creator would want to resort to using sprites.
I’m using sprites personally, because I can finally make backgrounds and movieclips that I’ve wanted for a WHILE but no one ever makes them.
And I also enjoy the procesd of turning little stock images into something way bigger, adding filters, masking the photorealism with blur, adding tint, etc.
As I’m typing this, I also realize that sprites can allow us to have things that we never could have ever had in SN, like Photorealism, high-node stuff, epic movieclips, and just awesome stuff…
It’s just that they’re so damn unfair…
Anyways…
THIS IS WHY WERE COOLER THAN PIVOT!!! >:)
