On March 13th of 2021, Mellow was born. Or at least, the first record of him occurred there. And here we are now almost a year later with a totally different person.
I wish I could say that without lying a little, but I do find it amusing how so much is similar and how so much else is now different. It’s almost like nothing has changed, and yet so much has changed.
We’ve all seen him grow from one thing into another, step by step getting better and better. Anyone outside of this would simply think that this jump in design was a simple glow up done by someone much more experienced. And, in a way, they’re entirely right. But they only know half the truth.
We all know how he grew, how I grew. And I think that’s what makes Mellow a bit more special than my other characters, because we’ve seen him improve so frequently and as a result some people might’ve grown a sort of emotional attachment to him in a way. If Mellow is appealing to some people, then maybe this is why.
Of course, I could easily be speaking out of my ass with this, but I think it has some merit to it.
Next month will be his anniversary. I’m not too sure if I’m gonna do anything special with him then, but it’s nice to think about at least.I suppose I should thank you once more for coming along with me on this journey, so thank you.

Room for improvement, but the effort\’s there

I\’ll consider it

That would require them to have the means to cross universes, and seeing that the Zenith Arrangement hasn\’t been seen in 450,000 years with there being no known technology that let\’s them travel across the multiverse, there\’s not much of a choice here

The whole travelling to other universes thing isn\’t something that would be utilised JUST yet, in fact it\’s more likely that they\’d stay away from it because of events that occurred 450,000 years ago

This is the premise, so the villain won\’t be appearing JUST yet

I asked before if some of you guys were interested in reading the premise of Mellow’s story. Well, I’ve written it again from the ground up to share with you lot, so check it out if you’re interested!

Be warned though, it’s a pretty long read so don’t force yourself if you get bored halfway through. If you do choose to go through it though, I do hope you enjoy the ideas me and Milky have come up with over the past few months.
And we ain’t at all done, just so you know
I’m interested in hearing your thoughts after reading it all, so do tell me what you think about it-
I like it.
I’m not the best at storytelling so I have no criticism but I like the idea.

I read it
It’s really good with the storyline and storytelling
Just a couple more tweaks and it will be at maximum perfection-

Just for a basic story, you should probably have a main villain, but this is also very good with the story of resources running out

I finished reading, I had this one idea of technology being enhanced to the point were you can cross into other people’s dimensions. (Could be used in the future to recruit to fight the big buddy daddy)

mellow without the little ears is yikes
It’s amazing to have seen him improve
I think Medley is growing to having the same effect as Mellow. You guys have seen them grow and change quite a bit in a fairly short time. Though, that’s mostly due to a more experienced me making them in contrast to an inexperienced me making Mellow and slowly building up on him.
The problem with Melo-D, and why he suffers from not having the Mellow Effect is that he was sorta “born good.” I made him in a way that was appealing to the eye, and put him in a spotlight larger than Mellow’s. But, nobody cares about him as much because nobody grew along with him like they did with Mellow. So, along with his other flaws, that’s one big one with him.
He feels… manufactured, non-organic. Not something flourishing and constantly improving like Mellow, just an attempt to be good from the get-go.
I don’t like that very much
unrelated but Is it weird how I’m just now understanding the Melo-d thing?
In what way do you mean?
Just the name
Medley
Melo-d
Also for whatever reason, I thought his name was Melody.
Lmao
not the same
melo-d is most likely a play on the word melody, medley is a different character
I don’t think that’s what he means-
But you’re right on the pun
Oh yeah, Medley’s a musical term, and represents the many aspects of them and their life.
Melo-D is a pun on Melody, with the D part meaning Definitive or Divisional.
And Mellow relates to his desire being “mellow” in nature, being smiles, joy and peace for all those worthy of it. It also relates to a melody which is usually the forefront of a song, just like how he’s the main character.
Still looks like a shy guy a year later
I was really hoping that would burn and die eventually 😭
I will hold this to you until your unfortunate death
I don’t care if I have to travel half the world to put a shy guy plush on top of your grave
A highly dripped out shy guy
It’s really amazing seeing him go from that to this! Glad I was a part of this community to see it
i still live in your backpack
I remember when you first gave him actual eyes and I thought it looks super creepy but now I think it’s one of the best parts of him
rare occurrence where the original figure from a long time ago is still ranked up there in terms of quality
