Venting, Scroll past if uninterested or triggered

Sooo…. I fucking broke down crying today.
We were going to get dinner for Father’s Day, and I wore my favorite sweater vest ((Teh red and white one YALL have seen me wear before.)). My aunt..Says the colors I wear don’t go together at all and that I look horrible ((I was wearing the same outfit as when I came back to sn)). She then proceeded to RIP OFF my sweater over my head and THROW it in the trash can. When my brother pointed out she was being mean and he’d be upset too ((I was sobbing at this point and she was getting onto me for crying over it)) she pulled the “So you’re making me the bad guy?” Card and pulled the sweater out of the trash and threw it at me. She kept calling it “atrocious” and “hideous” and saying I don’t look good in it. She also hates it because it’s so worn out (I love worn out sweaters. It shows they’ve been lived in and loved.). My aunt asked me why I like it so much..and well, I responded with “Because it makes me happy” and she said that that makes “no fucking sense”. She stormed off to her room as I changed once again. Im back home after dinner, and she hasn’t apologized, let alone said a word about it, I’m still hurt by it, and wonder if I should ever wear that sweater again. It hurts. I love that sweater so much…Im crying rn even thinking over the situation.
