This amped-up form of GMK Godzilla appeared in the 2025 crossover comic, "Godzilla vs. Thor."

In the comic, a ninja death cult known as The Hand recovered GMK Godzilla's heart, having chosen him as the host for their god, a murderous deity known simply as The Beast. After The Beast possessed Godzilla's heart, his body regenerated, and he began his rampage anew, more powerful than ever. In this possessed form, Godzilla looked the same, with the only visible difference being his atomic breath, which turned orange. Before long, Thor arrived to battle the demonic monster, eventually opening a portal to Jotunheim and using the frozen world's enchanted winds to freeze Godzilla in place.

Some time later, The Hand, not content with this defeat, used a fragment of All-Black the Necrosword, an incredibly powerful weapon used by both Knull and Gorr the God Butcher, to amp Godzilla's power even more, and thus God Butcher Godzilla was born. With this new power, Godzilla broke free from his frozen prison and made his way to Asgard and massacred Thor's entire world. Upon learning of this, Thor engaged in a fierce final confrontation with Godzilla, ending with the two killing each other and continuing their battle in the afterlife.

In this form, Godzilla gained a much more jagged and spiky appearance as well as a MASSIVE boost in power, capable of casually destroying planets with his atomic breath, now known as the necro-breath, and seemingly capable of flight.
