The savage caveman from the animated series known as "Primal." For those who haven't seen the series, allow me to elaborate:

After losing his family to a pack of carnivorous dinosaurs, Spear struggled to survive on his own.

Making matters worse, every time Spear attempted to hunt something, his prey was stolen from him by the blue-striped T-Rex named Fang. Eventually, Spear got fed up with Fang's theivery, leading to an epic battle between them.

(This particular fight is one of the longest in the whole series and ended in a draw due to Spear and Fang being evenly matched.)

Sometime later, Spear spotted Fang walking into a cave and followed her, meaning to kill her. This is when he discovered why Fang had been stealing his food: she was a mother. Spear hesitated, conflicted by the sight of the two T-Rex babies and their fearsome mother.

This is when the same pack of dinosaurs that killed Spear's family attacked, intending to eat the babies. In the battle that followed, Spear and Fang managed to kill all but one of the predators in single combat.

The last one was MUCH larger and succeeded in killing the babies. Neither Spear nor Fang were able to kill the monster alone, but working together, they managed to defeat it, avenging their families in the progress.

Ever since, the two have worked together to survive.
