Goodbye, Stick Nodes

Hello Stick Nodes, this is my final post. These past 3+ years have been the best of my life, and I have you all to thank.
I’m tearing up as I’m writing this as the thought of leaving you guys is heartbreaking, but this is something I need to do.

This website is so, so much more than what it appears to be. This site, this home, is a family. A refuge. A place you can go to when you’re feeling down, and you can be sure this place will cheer you up. Of course, there’s a fair amount of toxicity, but you can’t have a social media community without it.

A community is nothing without its users, so id like to acknowledge the ones who are special to me. I’d like to say in advance if I miss someone it’s because we haven’t done much together or I genuinely just forgot, don’t take it personally my mind hasn’t been fully functional lately.

Teo, your animations are breathtaking, my favorite being Ralph v Sean. I really really enjoy your content, it’s incredible. Looking back you’re one of the most goated users, let’s look back two years ago.
I was in the early days of making King Of The Web, looking for animators. That’s when an incredible animator, forgot who though, showed me the greatest animations I have seen to that date. Then this mystery user said, and I quote, “I’m a big procrastinator, not sure if I could do an entire series
However, if you get someone to do the normal parts of it, I could make the high-action or fighting sequences. It’s a technique called sakuga, little pockets where there’s a different animator for stuff like fights. It wouldn’t look too off or weird because the two animators wouldn’t be doing the same types of scenes
If not, I might be able to pull myself together to animate a series, depends on what the timeframe is for making each ep”
My guy, up until that point I hadn’t even met you yet and you literally offered to ANIMATE AN ENTIRE SERIES. You are such a good user, Teo, I haven’t even brought up how incredible your oc is. Thank you, Teo, and goodbye.

You magnificent black hole, what can I say about you that hasn’t been said already? I cannot fathom how you make what you make, you show us the true power of Stick Nodes. Your attention to detail is incredible, and that Roblox game you’re making is just 👌 You literally used an actual height map of Albuquerque to make the terrain, that deserves a reward bro.

I have you, Gigan, to thank for me being the person I am. A few years ago I was a real glasshole, making trouble everywhere I could. You though, were the one who beat me into shape gutpunched, headlocked, and dropkicked me into shape. It was definitely a bit too extreme, but it clearly worked. You have made so much progress in so little time. As soon as you joined you were making posts, had an oc, and made animations. Not sure if it was just me but you caught me by surprise, you showed a lot of talent not long after you signed up. I pray you will learn to use the like button someday, but for now, we can just daydream. I genuinely enjoy your posts as well as the updates on your upcoming series. See ya round Caiman.

Man, I feel like I could write a books worth of things to say to you. You are just such a great person. Many people when giving advice are just “Do this, do that, done” but you’re the type of guy to dedicate 3 hours of your time to write an explicit solution to someone’s problem. You’re my mentor Lemon, I look up to you, and I’m sure many other users do too. You gave me the best Minecraft experience to this date with the realm. You also got me into Roblox again, so thank you. You’re def in my top 3 favorite users, I’m gonna miss you.

Well, this is it. I love you all, and thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I will still be posting on YouTube and uploading figures, so I’m not completely gone.
I won’t be replying to your comments since I want this post to be the first thing you see when you look at my profile, but please please tell me how you feel about me. I want to feel like I mattered here, so if there are any positive experiences we’ve had please bring them up. I may not reply, but you can know that I will see them. I only have one request: If a Jehovah’s Witness knocks on your door, please hear what they have to say. It will mean your life.

And that’s it, my final post. I’m so glad I came across this small community. This is Kingston logging off for the last time. I will always remember you, and I will never understand birthdays.
