Detailed and not just a bunch of gradient ellipses thrown on it to add ‘detail’
Gradients do work for detail but should be used well and not just ellipses.
true, random segments might help

Maybe the rectangular segments, idk…for make stuffs a little 3D (possibly for making stuffs a little cylinderical, kinda used that for making cars)

Looking very makeshift still and I like that. It’s just a matter of whether that neck is actually a reasonable shape and that it will fit anywhere in the series.
