Spotlight Critiques
A group focused on reasonably criticizing the old and new animations featured in the spotlight and future animations brought onto the spotlight so no spotlight animations are thrown into the background and forgotten behind the new animations.
Rules
-If you are to vote for any animation that is your own, go ahead and vote, but vote on it as if you are looking at your old self and bringing up what you can improve on.
-Forcefully telling people everywhere to hate on an animation isn’t cool. Really, don’t be that guy just cause you want the top spot.
-Vote hard, be hard on the people who get spotlight, they already are ranked high having their animation presented in spotlight, so don’t be afraid to give a low rating on that stuff, that all is private anyway.
-Go ahead and give a statement of what you see on the animation, you can put your exact rating in or not on every category. Just don’t force yourself to make one, it’s not necessary.

Todays spotlights are kinda supposed to be in the same video, but they aren’t cause one was finished late. And yeah, this video has already been rated, but it’s a big animation. It’s the ending to a big series which is The StickNodes Movie Episode 11 THE FINALE by Epitaph. I remember this one quite vividly. It was a mass improvement from the rest of this whole thing. And I definetly recommend you go and check it out and still vote for it despite it having it’s rating already.

On the other hand we got Unfinished Stick Nodes Movie 11 Entry by Jackfly. A pretty neat entry that was perfectly uploaded around Black Friday. It’s a sweet short animation that I recommend you watch. It leaves you in a good mood.

Today we cover many minutes of a series. And an episode of a series I so very hate.
But let’s start off with Beyond Humanity Episode 0 Final Part: Ending A Mission by Kenn-E O’s. This is series alot of you are probably familiar with. I remember hearing a bunch anout it, seeing a bunch about it. But truth is I never got into it. I remember it being pretty decent to me, but going back and watching it through to this part it makes me wonder how it is popular. Its fanbase and community is toxic as all hell and the actual series itself has no hook as well as hardly any story. Though I still have to give credit on that smooth animation.
And this is the first episode, so I won’t judge it fully on that.

Next we got Elements 11 – Raze’s Vengence by Son Goku Anims. You people are already aware of the reasons I don’t like this series, but this episode had me suprised. There’s load of improvement and it’s actually a bit entertaining. Though I still have many “not nice things” to say about this series. But go ahead vote on this. I’m sure it will be a big contrast from that first episode.

Todays spotlights are kinda interesting ones. One is a trailer, one is an OC battle. Both are decently entertaining. First we got OC BATTLE 8 LEVI VS KEMI. I’m just gonna say I don’t which is which here in this battle. It doesn’t help that they look nearly alike aside from color. But this has some interesting effects from what I remember. Go ahead and check it out, then vote what you think.

Next up we got a trailer to something that’s building itself up with quite a few trailers. The trailers are decent and certainly capture your attention. This spotlight is RALPH “Voidz: Timeline”|REVEAL TRAILER.Though it’s a trailer, so you have to vote on it a little differently. So go ahead and vote for it.

Kinda just had an “oh shit” moment today and realized I had spent the entire day playing Just Cause 4 and making a figure for Project Landfall only to realize that I didn’t do a spotlight today. Or yesterday? Not sure. Just for the Hell of it, I’m gonna do 4 spotlights. Primarily cause I missed a day and I don’t want to post another update tomorrow which would literally be hours later.
First we got Clan Worlds Ep 1 by CoolBraker Animations. I hardly remember anything from this if I’m completely honest. But I did rate it already…. I actually have nothing to say. I remember as much about this as I do of my Grandpa-

Next up we got Beyond Humanity Episode 0 Part 4: The Instrument Pt 2 by Kenn-E-Os. Now this is one of SNs large series which… Oh boy. Originally I just thought this wasn’t my taste for an animation. But no. Critiquing this was like pulling apart Elements limb by limb, except this had redeeming features. If you’re looking for some nice animation, this certainly has it, but story? This next one is one I remember seeing, but not in a visual way if that makes sense. Supposedly for the tail collab by Zikeyy. It’s a short video. Go ahead and put your opinion in here.

Now for the cream of the crop. CHAMPION. Episode 1 – “Speed Star” by Mici Animations. A subtle improvement from his last episode, he returns. This one fixes some of the problems slightly from the pilot episode but suffers from recycled animations still. But you should watch this regardless. It’s actually kinda entertaining. Especially when you critique this in depth. Go ahead. Check it out and vote on it.

Todays spotlights are two different animations focused largely around creating a 3D look whether it’s through depth or through camera work and stretchy limbs.
First one I remember and was quite impressed by the quality of the animation. It was ZEN – Part 1 by Ritual Anims. If this is supposed to be a series, it’s garbage. If it’s supposed to be a simple fight animation. It’s amazing. Not much more to say. Go and watch it.

Second spotlight today is An Idea by MJ The Best. This animation certainly does something really well. Can’t quite put my finger on it. I’d just check it out. And vote.

Todays spotlights include an animation that plagued my recommendations for like 6 months along with the Granny one. And another that looks really good to the point that it doesn’t even seem like SN at that time.
The annoying spotlight is Eyes The Horror Game by Stickman Parody. Putting it short with the visual problems and the lack of overall entertainment for me, I can say that I didn’t like it at all. But go see for yourself.

The next part if you are physically in pain from watching the last, Voidz: United Part by CoolBraker Animations with heal that pain. It is entertaining with just beautiful animation. This is only a part to a bigger animation so I can’t quite judge it like any other animation. Same should be with you. Go ahead and vote for this one. It will be worth it.

Todays spotlights are both things I know of pretty well. The one is a collab soley based on making the viewer laugh. Unfortunatly since it is a collab, there’s going to be those people that posted cringe. I know that cause I watched it already. That spotlight is Stick Nodes On Random 3 | Special 4K of Subscribers by Heckray Anims. if you want a laugh and an interesting take on a collab, I highly recommend you watch this despite the cringe.

Second spotlight of today is by a pretty cool guy. SNZ Episode 1 (Season 1) – This Is Where It All Began by Leio Animations. Now he was going to remake this because he didn’t like it, I can see why but I can’t help but give credit to some of the visuals and stuff here. It’s pretty neat. Story is like what, but everything else really is something. Go ahead and watch this first episode and bring out your thoughts on it.

Today will be interesting. We got two very unique animations that capture your attention differently. First off we have Yumi Sakura by Mei Yamazuki which takes a pretty emotional focus. Like always Mei does her musical work amazingly. This animation is well played on the emotional part and I recommend you check it out and vote for it.

Next spotlight is him once again. 0-1000 Subs Special!!! by Mici Animations takes an interesting approach to a sub special. It’s an animation of a character growning themself up over time based on sub count. The fact he animated all of these different things is actually quite cool. You should definetly watch this and vote for it. Only needs 1 more vote though.

Todays spotlights includes a popular one that has already been rated and another that brings me back.
First we got CHAMPION.-Episode 0 “Pilot by Mici Animations.” his series is certainly well known and is one of the few series out there that captures a style and sticks with it. This first Pilot episode I found out was really rough, but I know everything gets much better. Mici always has an interesting style.

Next up is an animation of my own which is Apocalypse Part 6 – Reunion by Explosive Bullet. I can’t begin to start where this series is flawed. But theres something cool about this one. Part 6 is shows me getting way better at animation. This is back when I had less than 1000 subs. It was around the time where I was realizing that I was getting pretty big in the community. Part 5 though, you can tell I just moved to over to SN and was kinda new to animating in between frames. Recent animation apps had a ridiculous amount of tween compared to SN and I wasn’t used to it. But by Part 6 here, I had figured it out. I was still rough, but I was doing something that most SN animators couldn’t really do then. This just shows a fraction of the improvement I was capable of. It has aged a bit though. Go ahead and vote for it. Be honest too. It’s an old animation, it doesn’t define my ability today.

Champion is a series I adore
But you can’t change the model entirely except for the head.
I give it a 8/10, there is some flaws but I can’t remember just yet, I will watch it but I wanna finish my sentence while I am here.

Okay, I liked Stick Fighter, although it is slow which I dont think is your fault.
You transitioned the entire story over, that is a flaw I must say, but you still motivated viewers to keep watching.
I wont ask but suggest that you think of remastering 1-5

Your 6-8 or 9 I think was amazing.
It all had a amazing plot to it.

Todays spotlights are both rated. But I will only post the two. Since you can still throw your rating in. First one is Opening 2 Full (Darkboy The Animation) by Dark Boy Animation. Opening always tend to be a little interesting. It’s either the person goes for their own unique opening, or the try to grab a popular opening from an anime. I recommend you check this out. But you really don’t have to since it has already been rated. This one is full of popular SN animators though.

The primary spotlight of today also has been rated and it’s the return of the legend once again. Heart of a Hero by Vamrack Powerhouse. He does a great job once again with humor and length with some story involved. I highly recommend you check this one out. But man is it good. Theres some good animation here too if your only looking for that.

Today I am gonna do 2 spotlights. Primarily because the one is 14 minutes in which you will likey not last 2 minutes watching before you’ve made up your mind one how useful the video is for starting animators.
It’s Stick Nodes || Speed Animation by TheRealSenseiMo. Not much really to say about it, just judge it based on the speed it is sped up as well as the other editing that compliments the videos entertainment value.

Now something that is actually really interesting is Battle #2 – Bly vs Keagle by Neon Anims.
The entertainment value is all here and the fight is unique. It isn’t just them punching each other for 2 minutes. Really, it’s interesting and great. Watch it.

Todays spotlight is another DBZ animation which happens to be Goku vs Vegeta by Anony-[K]ane.
It’s short and I’m not expecting anything really ground breaking considering Goku vs Vegeta has been done 7000 times. At this point I honestly don’t know what’s happening with Dragon Ball Z. I remember watching some of it, it’s entertaining, but I remember the old PS2 games that where a lot of fun way more.

Things are slowing down lately in this group, but the grind is still on for voting for all the spotlights. Today is gonna bring us back to the old classic.
Stick Nodes Movie Episode 10 by Epitaph is an episode where I’m sure everything gets more intense as theres an approach to the end of the series. Though I don’t remember too much from it. Guess I’ll have to watch it again.
