PL Anderson & Rylo might have managed well but I am sure they made them from scratch, what you’ve been presented with is a living proof that the PL base is bad and horrible, I was obligated to replace the leg with another leg because it’s a pain in the ass, same goes for the torso, it can suck my white ass, and the last photo was what it was supposed to look like. :

Rylo and Anderson are both made off of the base. In fact Rylo is built more off the NBC Elite, which is built of of yet, the PL base. Same thing with Anderson. And my newer version of my OC. Except thats built off of the side view PL 2.0 base which is built off of the PL 1.0 base. The two honestly don’t differentiate much. In shape, they are the same, and so placement and hand complexity, they are not. And the style of the Jin Roh is more towards and anime style. Proportions are different and more exaggerated. I think where you might run into is the fact that you have to use polyfills if you are going to put something on that expands across a joint betweet two limbs. This is what I had to do to make the base in itself work. Editing it is hardest first time you try. Then after it becomes easier. And technically 3.0 PL base it what I should be working on because base 1.0 was used in episode 1, which was chunky. Base 2.0 was more thin and better built in episode 2. Episode 3 is all 3.0 and appear even better. Probably as good as it’s going to get.

You can trace the head and cover it when you create the head if your character is armored. With the torso, I’m not too sure what you are mentioning with it. It’s probably the easier one out of all of the parts. The arms agreeably have problems, and will change in 2.0 but I’ve made them work better with a simple edit in the elbow. But honestly I can’t exactly duplicate myself and work on both Episode 3 and a new base at the same time. Especially when the front view is so ridiculously difficult.

Torso is like the least likely thing to change since is can’t get much more solid that it already is. Aside from adding more nodes to the back which is very minimal and just adds another headache.

  • I updated the backstory of my character and now I have a design plan. He’ll basically look like my standard OC but in PL base and with more details.

    Name: Esquecido

Backstory: He was born in Portugal, in 2005. He moved to the USA when he was around 12 years old. He had normal life and was quite skilled in creating weird devices and contraptions.
One day his dad took him to the shooting range and he fucking loved it. Scince then he got interested in hunting, and as time went by, he became a very skilled hunter.
He found out about an illegal project that enhanced certain human habilities and he joined a group of other hunters who also went through the same enhancements. It wasn’t a normal hunting group, as they hunted criminals and certain people that needed to be terminated. The group eventually split when one of the members went insane and turned on them.
Esquecido decided to live a life as a normal hunter, until he found out about project landfall (or whatever the space program was called) and joined it.
He was cryo frozen for a while until about 14 years before the events of this series. He joined the NBC and was quite effective in his mission.
As the tension between Thaltop and the NBC became more apparent, he left the NBC and became a bounty hunter.
While he was a bounty hunter, he created a bracelet that displays his stats and can scan the surroundings/enemies.
Once the war between the NBC and Thaltop started, he rejoined the NBC to fight for them one last time.
This is basically what he will look like once I make him in PL base

Cryotechnology exists in the late 2020s from what I remember and people signed up for the Landfall Colonization project in the 2030s. My character was born 2 years before him and he is like 26 years old while taking into account the years in cryo. So this character could still be born at the time. Oldest character I know of in the series is from the 1980s or something. He’s in his 50s or so, but he’s still fine.
