Now before you read it, I just wanna say sorry and no I’m not a kid. Alright, here we go…

So how do I participate in a serie or what do I do in series?
    (I’m sorry for asking this I feel embarassed) ;-;

    • In a series? Well, maybe you can help suggest music according to the director or maybe help make stickfigures for the creator. I don’t think explosive bullet would let you animate though. No need to be embarrassed. Everyone needs someone to tell them what they can do and only then they can help correctly. RIP cat paws.

Thanks. I repeat the video under slow motion so people can look closely at the little details in the animation. Often people try to do stuff similar to my tests so I just like making it easier for them to do that by so they don’t have to watch a laggy slowed down version of the video.

Gradients. Now, that might be a good idea. A final touch to everything. Gonna have to be careful though since gradient can mess up the original look to it and make some details look like they’re together when they aren’t supposed to be.

    • I haven’t watched much of Project Landfall, but I think they mean that the animation of the characters are robotic, not sure though, the PL bases are pretty dope.

Robotic animation in the first episode is agreeable since that was my first time using something that complex. But I’m sure he’s talking about the base, not the animation. Fullbody is not animation, it’s a style that includes every limb of a human being so that’s where I’m confused. How is it not fullbody?

I don’t know how they act like or who are they, but they either might:

          1. Have not paid attention to detail towards the PL base, and just took a quick look and assumed it’s not fullbody.

          2. Have a different view on what fullbody means, is or looks like.

          3. Be in denial that there is another fullbody base (for some reason), so they pretend PL bases are not fullbody for that reason.

          4. Do not consider PL bases as fullbody because they might have different criteria to consider if a base is fullbody or not (see 2.)
That’s all I can think of.

That first point is possible, but the second, is also possible but I’d say its more of an odd understanding of it considering a fullbody is supposed to consists of the full human body right down to shape. For the third possibility, he has watched a little bit of PL as he said here, so he should know what the base and style is cause the shape of the PL base is very different from a stickfigure. Fullbody is described by it’s name. It includes the whole body so yeah, 2 and 1 is gonna be my guess.

Even drawing animation uses a base. A base is what pretty much builds the shape of a character in animation. So that probably isn’t it either.

    • both of your bases have their pros and cons
one is a little too blocky and isn’t realistically scaled
the other may be lacking some details and in a way may use less modern and efficient methods

      • Replying to: arabfighter allah (md)both of your bases have their pros and cons one is a little

I’ve only made one base. Aside from the stickfigure base. Thats the PL base, scaling on the legs and torso with the head is all right, but not quite the arms. They are rather a small difference between the more accurate front view. This is primary because of the side view picture not having a proper view of the arms length. So scaling them accuratly is rather hard. On being blocky, old old concept of my that I tried doing for a little bit before the PL base was very blocky, but new one is built entirely to match the shape of a human being. Detail lacking in the base is 0 of a concern considering it’s a base. A base is what sets the shape and style of all characters in a specific art style. So shape is the only factor really. And there is problems with the old PL base where the neck is attached to the torso which doesn’t work well as there is no polyfills on the neck then for it to bend.

Where was I getting offended? I was just asking a question cause this confused me. Like do I not know what a full body is? This is for myself to learn something, if this where something that I was defending myself in, I’d likely be pointing out everything wrong with this person. And am I doing that here? No. Read the entire comment before deciding to try and make your own argument.

That doesn’t answer where I was mad. And he also has 0 of a point cause animation is not a concern of the base being fullbody or not. If you would’ve actually read everything you would have seen that I am pointing only the fullbody thing out for the reason that I’m not sure if Im wrong or not on what a fullbody is. Not exactly sure what you are trying to do but everything you are saying actually looks like a comment made from a person who flips out about something they didn’t even read because they hate the person too much.

              • Replying to: P0lybiusOk, I'm gonna close my case with this statement: Like what

Still didn’t really answer anything. And MD was talking about 2 bases. PL only has 1 base. 3 versions now. 1st version was what I used to make the original NBC Veteran, it was blocky because the vest overlapped the body so I deleted those nodes. The newer one which actually had a base made for it and many other figures. Except I have 0 idea which bases he is really talking about, especially when base quality is completely irrelevant. The comment was asking about whether I had the definition of base right, not animation quality, not base quality. And heres an issue with adding more back joints. A simple bend down becomes a big project in it’s own. And by adding more, the design for the NBC Elite would break easily as a result of clipping. The back isn’t supposed to bend as much in order for there to be a point in adding another node. Your first comment still makes 0 sense though. If it were supposed to be a reply to my comment on MDs reply, then get a grip. Constructive criticism is useless when I don’t see the reason behind it. Part of what everyone needs to do is also turn down some critisism while at the same time taking some. But I’m sure this isn’t the case.

      • Replying to: ████████ ██Probably has something to do with the PL Base’s neck and how

The neck is a piece of the bases functionality. It still has every limb the human body has which is what a fullbody is. Every limb of the human body shown. The entire body. So I’m sure he isn’t pointing that out cause fullbody is shape not functionality.

  • Just made a new system for the head on PL bases. Theres now a neck node on the head figure that allows the head to rotate seperatly from the neck. This made things a little stiff in previous Project Landfall Episodes so this outta be a bit of a game changer.
