A series involving several nations who are on the same mission to colonize an untouched continent on an unnamed planet. These nations all hold very different beliefs and have little thought on even attempting to work together. Technology is very advanced for some countries while others are not. All of these countries hold their own problems that instigate massive conflicts between each other.

PL always has a visually busy scene no matter the shot compared to any other SN series, so I really have to nail a lot of the effects. Currently in the process of replacing my 4 node gunshot effect that was made back in 2016 or so. Really old effect that is dated and just isn’t working with the style of PL. Going for a full update of it right now and while the muzzle flashes are amazing and better than I expected, I have to nail the smoke. Not just in looks, but how it moves. So far it looks pretty solid and accurate. Will need a few variations but I am not entirely sure if I should worry so much on giving it the ability to move beyond dispersion considering the smoke is more subtle and doesn’t hang around so long. This is just a test for the smoke and the desert eagles ring of fire effect. Still messing with stuff there.

Last time I checked the emulator I used only was stuck with the limitations of the mobile version and the UI that didn’t work very well for anything but mobile. Though having something just more universal and unrestricted would be real nice. I can’t even use all the ram in my mobile device for SN which hurts.

while unlimited nodes for projects would make sense, removing the node limit for figures would be catastrophic. people would have no reason to conserve on nodes and submissions will be laggy messes of nodes that would look just as good with a node limit

With the shapes and stuff we have, i dont think we really need to raise the node limit for nodes considering we have stuff to reduce nodes and we can join figures to areas that we couldn’t add originally.

Unit creation really wears me down. Like make it once on the male base, then recreate it on the female base. Then I gotta do the front and rear views. I am self harming myself mentally. Thankfully school only will last for 2 more months and then I am done. Problem is I would like to get to finishing most of the animation by the start of summer, and I am well behind schedule on that. Might end up just taking a quick break. Or I might just force myself to get the NBC veterans new design finished. And then proceed to chill out and do some of the animation that I need to do. In the meantime. I just got a quick poll to get myself going.

Did a sound design test not long ago. This time I’m just testing reverbs thst you would hear in an indoor space.

I think you should make different arm parts and change only the one you need to change instead of switching arms , for example , change only the forearm and the hand during the Barrette reload
