Name: Corvus Pyrros
Current holder of the Aerix Gear.

Story: Corvus’s mother was an employee and the head developer of the Aerix Gear. Aerix received the compatibility surgery against his will (so the scientists could see what it does to younger patients), unbeknownst to his mother. When she found out, she decided to defect from the company and take the Aerix Gear with her. Due to the gears being so valuable, Smart Brain hired mercenaries to track them down and retrieve the Gear. They eventually tracked them down to their hotel room. Before the mercenaries could get there, Corvus’s mother gave him the case containing the gear. She told him to climb down the fire escape and to not turn back no matter what, and to never lose the case.

This will be a 2 part post. This one being the corporation, the next one being my character.

Smart Brain, a company known for creating powerful armors known as Rider Gears. The armors are projected onto the user from a belt. The problem with the gears, is that are extremely expensive and they’ve only made 3 so far. All of their employees undergo a
surgical process that allows them to use the Rider Gears. People without this surgery cannot use them without varying degrees of consequences. There are many side effects to this surgery, the most major is one being that a person is able to willfully transform into a gray-skinned flora or fauna based humanoid monster. The other side effect is that they’re lifespan is shortened due to human body being unable to handle the strain of this sudden “evolution”. Smart Brain wishes to profit from the resources on this planet to potentially produce more rider gears, and maybe even mass produce them….
