Gradients give is a nice 3D feel, and the blade curvature is done really well, can’t wait to see the final product.

I spent about 1.5 hours making
I don’t really do actual weapon sticks often so this was a bit new to me
Really it’s just getting a rough idea into your head and expanding on it as you go, at least, that’s how I do it. I also do my animations the same way, kinda like improvisation, make it up as you go and make it flow.

like a lot of people said, ultra realistic weapons stand out unless you are going for a VERY distinct style. Most of the time they are hard to pull off.

Helps with layering.

Not gonna lie B is the best but a revert back to the original even if it makes the top a bit more cluttered would be more preferable imo

It depends on the actual figure maker, as in my opinion, stickfigure weapons are actually easier to move than sprites if made efficiently. For example, you would have the main node on the handle and the second node on the barrel. This would make rotation extremely easy and joining the figure to the hands of the user possible.
With sprites, it might just be me, but I think turning an image on a axis is more troublesome and intricate than stickfigures

it sucks that smg4 can’t use the super Mario 64 models anymore I think they are just more iconic and charismatic in a way than the 3D models, but they do look better visually.
