The dude got crucified, he lost consciousness, they mistook it for death and got him down and buried him in a cave.
Miraculously he survived, he managed to either move the stone, someone else moved it or a natural event like an earthquake shifted it.
Dude appears like “guess who’s back” and soon after dies of infection from his wounds.OR
He died, they buried him, somebody realised they could mimic him, they pretend to be him, either gets assassinated, dies of disease or a freak accident like falling off a cliff or dying in the desert.

Religion though, hurts people. Take Islam for example. They’ll tell you time and time again that it’s about peace but their Religion has consistently attacked all others for not reason for it’s entire existence and it’s gotten worse, now islamaphobia exists, we’re afraid of middle-eastern people entirely because of religion.
It’s not a peace maker, it’s a problem. The Romans were right to take action i guess, at least their Religion never hurt anyone nore interfered with culture
