• Starting work on Wine Gal (name will be changed I just keep putting it off). As you can see with the chart she’s going to be by far the biggest character so far. The art there was AI generated based on a description of the character. It’s not 100% accurate but it’s close enough. So far the head base is already almost finished. So what’s left is her crown and maybe a causal head dress, body, 2 arms and 2 legs, plus her wine jug.

Since she’s so big she will likely take longer then Pneuma, but that’s alright, as long as she takes less time then Flame I’m happy. Once she’s done I’ll start animation tests.

Don’t believe it ever was no.

Also, I had no idea they got cancer. I’m glad to hear they survived though.

I rechecked the figure and realized I just made a dumb mistake. One arm was set to .97 while the other was at .98. Everything else when lined up together was set to the proper rotation and lengths. So everything is proportional but I just messed up essentially.

The issue it’s self didn’t come from the body or anything else thankfully, just a slip up. Still, I appreciate you looking into this as it made me recheck it all.

  • Pneuma is done

It took me 3 weeks exactly to make her compared to Flame who took 5~ months.

I’m likely going to send her over to 1-2 people just to ensure I didn’t miss anything, but even then it should just be small layering fixes or something similar.

After her is Wine Gal (won’t be her name, I’m just bad at naming). I will likely start her within a week or two assuming all goes to plan. After she’s done I may take a small break from figure making and start planning the rest of the series plus practice animation. I’ll send some photos of Pneuma posing and whatnot tomorrow.

    • This was done so quick, for how good it looks as well it was really quite skilled of you to pull it off.

I think I figured out what’s wrong with her back arm, with how you have the torso it comes out more to the front and it’s likely the back arm is connected to nearer the front arm so it’ been put in an odd position where the cleavage and front torso overhang cover a majority of it.

Not sure if you know already or if the example does it any justice but hopefully you get the message

  • Replying to comment by: Gibberish@firedino32 can you add fur on the ears, pls and thank you a

Looking at the figure, doesn’t seem to complex. I think all you’d need to do is just slap 1-3 triangles on each ear and call it a day. I used a temp account for the media file send over so I don’t think its worth me making another account, adding a few nodes just to send it back over.

I think this is all that’s needed

Additionally, I do think Scarlett’s right here. It’s best to try and push yourself even if it’s difficult, as that’s how you improve. Granted, it’s fine to ask for help, but I think you should leave it to the big things, or roadblocks you genuinely can’t do for when you need direct help (advice is different). I know personally that I slowed myself down when getting help with such easy parts of a figure, and I’m only now getting to point where I need minimal direct help with figures.

The updated hair looks really nice, great work man. I think now that the newer hair has a bit more detailed compared to the original, it may be best to add some detail to the older one just to have it keep up. Though it may not even be fully needed, really your call if you’d like to experiment with it.

Regardless, great work. I look forward to seeing the next update.
