As I said in the beginning of my rant, I did see it before you unblocked me, as I could just log-out to see your posts.
My main issue is the first part and that’s the lack of more personal apologies. You can give a general apology to the community as a whole, but it’s also presumed in most public apologies that you have to name names and apologize to them if you mistreated them.
Went back to the apology and re-read it, and used ctrl F, you mention Toxic once in a neutral light, and didn’t apologize. You never mention Squido, and you mention HOWF once. Now I’m gonna be more lenient on the HOWF thing because it’s not like half of HOWF has been the nicest to you, but you should’ve apologized to the other two.

Yeah my main problem is the half-assed apology. He apologized for previous behavior which for the most part has already been apologized for. He only nodded to the drama that majorly affected his decision to leave the site (that being the HOWF 3.5 comment) and didn’t apologize for the stuff he did on Discord, like calling Toxic shit at psychology.

I’m making this post here because Epitaph has blocked me and I cannot respond to his apology/state of the site post directly. Although I cannot @ him, I’m sure that one of his friends will inform him of this post, or he’ll happen upon it by himself. Epitaph, if you are reading this, do not feel the need to unblock me, as I can see your posts just by logging out.
With the apology section, I’m going to be honest, it isn’t a very good apology. Mostly because this is the same apology we get everytime he does something bad. General apologies are usually the worse because it fails to directly address what you’re actually apologising for. He briefly mentions the little scuffle between him and Toxic on Discord, but doesn’t actually apologise for it. Hell he doesn’t even mention the part where he called Toxic “Shit at psychology”. I get that it was the heat of the moment type deal, but you still gotta apologise for momentary behavior.
I was expecting names, saying “Yo Squido I’m sorry for prematurely judging your Discord server” or “Hey HOWFians, sorry for taking an unnecessary jab at your group” or “Hey Toxic I’m sorry for calling you sh!t at psychology”. And no I don’t expect an apology myself. Compared to what the other people involved dealt with my banning from the SN tea party is minor, and it’s not like I used it all too much. All I want is you to acknowledge why I was so pissed
Because for the past year I’ve been defending you.
I’ve been defending you for sh!t I look back at and think ‘What the hell was I thinking’. All that year of looking the other way whenever you did something questionable, like when you basically bullied Cookie into leaving that one time.
It makes me feel disposable, like all that didn’t even matter to you. All over my interest in anime and Street Fighter.
I also find it rather inappropriate to call Jackfly an “isolationalist asshole” in your freaking apology post, especially that first part because if I can remember you’re the same guy who went on a banning spree so you could isolate yourself with a few select people.
I do agree that the web site certainly isn’t the same. Before, this website was practically an addiction for me. I uploaded figures more frequently, I posted more frequently, and tried to get in projects more frequently. But suddenly I find myself using the site less and less. And while it does have to do with some of the stuff listed in Epitaph’s post, over-all I just feel myself dwindling from SN in general. Maybe this summer I’ll get some more motivation.

I tried putting in https/discordapp.com/activity but whenever I tried clicking that it just brings me back to the edit profile page. I tried putting in the URL of Tztac discord, but I had the same result. Tried putting an invite link there and the same result. I don’t know if it’s because I’m still logged into discord, but I press my YouTube link and it works just fine.
Maybe I could do some further testing with other accounts and stuff but I’m not on my computer and it would be a pain in the ass to do so on a tablet. Yo try clicking on my Discord link in my Prof see if you get anything since you’re a different account. It’s still an invite link to TZTAC. I dunno if It’ll put you in TZTAC, but if the link is working it should put you at the Discord sign-in page or something like that.

you people keep digging up the past and from what I see, epitaph is here being normal almost daily – I actually see a lot of questionable actions from OTHER people
then, also almost daily, I see he gets some hate-response at him out of nowhere, like just “die” or some shit, and guess what – he doesn’t react to it
but then it seems he’ll mis-speak here or there and off we go into drama land again
Epitaph likes to make sure his activity on the SN website is peachy clean, it’s on discord where he actively bullies other people for using stickfigures and whatnot, a lot of drama happened recently on discord because of him and what he’s been doing, and it really doesn’t help that he’s been ignoring most of it on discord and passive aggressive attacking people on The website with all this “Apparently I can’t have an opinion anymore” stuff making it look like he’s a victim.
He doesn’t react to a lot of sn website stuff because it’s harder to cover up his tracks than it is on discord, he receives a lot of hate here because of the hate he dishes out there. It’s basically him running around and attacking people at other locations then running back to where it’s safe and passive aggressive taunting them.

Epitaph is being a bad dude on discord. Can’t be disputed at this point. He’s enabled by the website to continue doing bad stuff because people don’t see what’s going on in discord, only that people are getting mad at him, and no one really knows the reason why except the people getting mad. Keeping it on discord deprives the public from all the information. It’s literally keeping the truth away from everyone lol.

Yes I am criticizing the apology, and I wouldn’t be if he hadn’t been a repeat offender. This isn’t the first time he’s done stuff like this, and it certainly isn’t the first time he went off on Toxic. When you slight someone once usually you get off light, but you’re supposed to put more effort into the apology next time because you failed to put the effort into changing your behavior the first time.
I’m not gonna give him an A for effort, a 50% is still an F, and I expect him to improve next time he apologizes, though if we were to take him for his word, there won’t be a next time hopefully.
