Yeah they’re all just faces staring at me like the article mentions
What the hell happened to artistic posters that capture your imagination ? Or hell, even posters that look original or unique ? Scarface’s movie poster may look a bit plain, but it is instantly recognizable, I can’t say the same for modern movie posters though.

His art is something else, that poster for the Return of Godzilla is just mesmerizing with those red and orange gradients, it looks straight up apocalyptic and I like that a lot.
Too bad movie posters nowadays look… Average at best ( here’s an article on it, I guess https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-do-modern-movie-posters-suck-richard-miller )

This film is Miyazaki\’s last ( supposedly ) and it had NO MARKETING , just one image of the poster released.
I\’m not surprised if this is literally the first time you\’ve heard of it.

I\’d like you to explain how it isn\’t a boring-ass book then
Like good God, the entire story is just a slog to read, the chapters are all structured the same, there is no real plot it\’s literally just people believing that god will help them ( which, spoiled alert, he doesn\’t, and never actually does most of the time, he just gives them consolation and a pat on the back ), there\’s so many names, locations and events to keep track of and it just becomes confusing as hell in the end.
Not to mention there\’s a ton of archaic reference that doesn\’t make sense no matter what way you look at it.
Camel through the needle\’s eye !? Seriously what the hell is that ?!

I absolutely agree that most current movie posters kinda stink
