So, the development of these creatures were crazy. I was zigzagging with ideas, and now with the finished and proper design I’m very… proud? I don’t know what I’m really proud about, though. I mean, it’s a fucking stickfigure, not of any real significance. Maybe i’m proud of my development, but at the same time I don’t really want to be. I have a long ways to go. Maybe it’s because this is like, promising. I dunno.

To be original, the infection eventually leads to the infected losing their jaw. It spreads through scratches, and the scratches lead to rashes. The rashes are just a byproduct of what’s going on inside, as the skin peels back from the location of the scratch to reveal a coating of bark over the bone. Eventually, the rash completely overtakes the body, resulting in what you see above. Think of it like your skeletons trying to get out of it’s meat prison called skin. Afterward, your intellect would be replaced with instincts that make you want to spread and consume, but the thing that makes twigs, twigs, is that they grow smarter. Some just use their intellect to outsmart people to get to them, but some would do more. Read, learn, try to become a human again, and eventually moving beyond.

so I took my fair share of a break

I got to take time to recouperate myself and evaluate my mental heath, and I played undertale for the first time. It was great, unsurprisingly. nonetheless, I have to post something of worth every once in a while but I am creatively drained in the sense where anything I try to make that doesn’t involve writing will be a trashfire, so here’s a recycled meme.

remember late shift? yeah so I plan to rewrite it again. this is the fifth time. however, i’m taking a break from that project to tell a different and much shorter story involving a different character. willem. I’ve started to find him a more engaging character then louise, that being his potential as a person and the stories I could tell with him. I’m writing something for Christmas, and I hope to have it finished by then. I don’t want to say too much, because it might spoil too much, but I have some interesting things I want to tell that build off of existentialism, unaccomplishment, grief, optimism and mental growth. I’ll elaborate more later. -

hurricanes, jormundgandr and evacuations
Jormundgandr was a coastal city, said to be the biggest in the world. However, in the months before the initial apocalypse a hurricane came in from the seas and decimated the town. On the cold night of September 23rd, the predicted storm came from the coast and hit the city hard. Lightning lit fires in the surrounding woods. The flames spread, and Jormundgandr entered into chaos. The fires persisted for days, and most of the populace was evacuated. When the real apocalypse hit, the colonizers (caiman, cass, louise and co.) built up from the literal ashes of the abandoned city, until decades later it became the oasis of a town we know now.more unrusting my bg skills

I realized that I couldn’t make late shift and the other stuff I wanted to make with the limitations of an iOS animation app so… this is more specifically about backgrounds, as I need angles and lighting that aren’t possible in stick nodes. I’m going to be animating the characters themselves in sn, just not everything else
at least, that’s my plan
things change, and using blender may not be the easiest but it will have the better result. That’s what matters to me, the quality.
