• Flame-V6 update. His thigh is now finished, and all that’s left is the knee down. Once that’s done, the figure is ready to be wrapped up. At which point I’ll go back and fix a bunch of things I don’t like/I feel I can improve on.

Overall, my plan is to get this done by the end of August, and finally move on. To what that may be I’m not sure. I’ll either make the front and back view, or start work on side views for other characters in the series Flame is apart of.

  • Bit of a proof of concept with Flame so far. With normal posing and all, I’m really liking the way he looks. I do defiantly see some issues with things. Though I’ve been planning most to fix already, plus theres some new spots I’ve seen that I want to touch up, but that’s to be expected.

I have a few goals for things to work on after the legs are finished. Not sure how realistic is, but I’ll try.

I want the hair to be more moveable, that way it can react to large movements. Currently, it won’t be possible to make it moveable, so I’ll likely have to remake the whole thing.

I also want to make the jaw move up and down, and add maybe add mouth directly onto the jaw. This would allow for more expressions, and could really help with dialogue. Though like before, a lot will have to be edited.

There’s a few smaller things, but those are what I want to tackle after the legs.

  • Flame V6 progress. It’s been about a month since I’ve worked on him, but it’s nice to be back into the swing of things. He’s about 75% finished. All that’s left now is the 4 leg variants, then fixing up a bunch of stuff from all the other figures.

Currently he’s 11 figures built, but I’ve made 13 overall.

Both side views are just slightly under 2k nodes, so hopefully I can keep the legs as a figure each. That would likely ensure he stays below the dreaded 3k nodes.

(The back sleeved arm was what was made today)

Exactly. Thankfully your group has cataloged a couple events I could see being in a iceberg. But most come from early SN, or modern SN but just before the group.

Some things were somewhat archived as well, through screenshots, groups, discords etc, but especially with screenshots, you just wouldn’t get a full story. Plus is it was drama related it would likely be bias towards whoever was giving the information.

At least now the daily log is archiving the site history, as we have something to look back on.

One was planned by a couple of people a year ago, but it didn’t go anywhere. I think it’s mainly due to the fact that there’s not a ton of events, especially little known events really linked to SN, at least that I know of. Plus with the community being relativity split between YouTube and the site, pretty much leading to 2 community’s really, it hurts the iceberg more if anything.

  • Flame-V6 semi-update. I haven’t done much of anything since my last post with Flame. Was busy with other projects so I pushed this to the side. But, there’s thankfully not much left. One more back arm, then all the leg variations.

After that I’ll go back in and fix anything up/update things. I’ve been considering things like making the mouth and hair moveable for example. It’s going to be very annoying and decently difficult, but may be a necessary update at the end of the day.

    Overall, expect this in 2026.

Actually, I think you can save this. I’ve had similar issues in the past with some figures but I’ve fixed it in a few ways.

For one, make the rounded segment into a segment for each moving node there. Then put a circle behind both nodes. That should make it still bend like rounded nodes, but and should allow you to work the outlining and scales you’re doing there better.

Additionally, where the outline goes over the body, it would help if you round it off, either with a half ellipse or a rounded segment overlapping another of a different color. It should help make the overlapping look more natural.

Seems difficult, but I think if you keep pushing a bit you can really make this work man. Looks awesome so far. Good luck if you change your mind.

Worth a shot. I haven’t read the action Bible yet, but from the first snippets I’ve seen it looks pretty awesome.

The QR codes are a really nice touch. I do think that the direct links should stay, however, the QR codes are still a good thing to have as an overall. I’m really liking the news style you’ve been working on.
