The lasers need more anticipation, the walking should be slower, since their literal monsters.
Camera shakes can help improve the anim, easing too.

He would still fall but he’d have to not be careful and the other one kicking would have to be strong. Depending on how strong the other is, it may need to reach Bruce Lee level kicking strength.

Swap feet swiftly, move the left close to the right and quickly move the right outwards.
Since the bodyweight is mostly on the standing leg less force will be applied so speed and precision is key. The more ideal kick is a roundhouse kick as you apply your momentum and bodyweight into the kick, it’s a good amount of weight to do a good amount of damage.
