When I was little I thought fireworks were a natural occurring type of weather
Also, my dog hates 4th of July. We put her in her cage (as to her that’s her safe space, we don’t use it as a punishment), and she was just scratching at the door of it purring loudly and aggressively like a cat. My sister let her out and than she just dug her head into our Mom’s body

Wow. I know one of my dogs hate it. Although I’m not to sure about the new dog Cowboy. He is unpredictable.
I would like to make like a witty remark or something but I completely understand. Ngl earlier I wasn’t sure what the fireworks were (yes I know I should know fireworks by now but it sounded like a distant explosion [Technically is but either way] to me so for a few seconds I was a little confused).
Ig I’ll just share that Fireworks in general aren’t my personal favorite way to celebrate an occasion. I know it sounds laughable since obviously I’ve never been even near a warzone but they remind me of the sounds of an ongoing battle, like mortar fire (probably not loud enough to be full-blown artillery or rockets, either way still doesn’t sound like “party time” to me).
I prefer the colors over the sounds. Like yeah the pretty colors are cool but being inside and just hearing a fucking explosion is… Something.
I’m just surprised there arnt any car alarms going off with how loud these fireworks are
