Site is Now Https, Beta Testing Officially Confirmed to Be Taking Place

Today is a big day for both the app AND the site, as not only is the site HTTPS making it secure and up to date (thanks Mike), but beta testing is now taking place for the sprite update! So hopefully this means that the release date would be soon, as a somewhat working build is out for the beta testers and the percentage is at 93.

Although, this isn’t all good news as there was a temporary fonts issue that came with the chnage to HTTPS, although the issue was resolved quickly.

Banned user confirmed to have return, although leaves on his own accord-?

This is a weird one. So a while ago a user named “Animator-the-random-one” was banned for being annoying. However, he returned with another account called “Animator-the-banned-one” (don’t know why he thought people wouldn’t catch on) and he made a post that compared his ban to a fictional event that happened in a video game. It was deleted due to some people catching on (even though it was obvious). Than later, user Scarlett called him out on being the banned user. He tried to deflect the claim with a lousy excuse, however Gigan pinged Ralph to have him banned. But, it was confirmed that Ralph already knew and he said he was giving him another chance. However by this point Animator knew the jig was up and left on his own accord, despite being given a pardon by Ralph, and him actually requesting for people to leave Animator alone.

This was the second ban he invaded so far though, so I don’t see him getting any more chances.

Peri receives a revamp!

Creator of the Oc “Peri”, Infiniteguess, has just developed a revamp for said oc. Not only that, but he confirmed that a new InfiniteGuess revamp will be created soon.

Gigan proposes Update idea

Gigan proposed that users get the ability to implement the unmoving plaid effect, or “perspective incorrect texturing, into their animations. I think this is a good idea. However ralph stated that it would be in the pc version of Sticknodes only, sadly.

User Masterstrike becomes over 1,500 days old in account age

Ralph removes Thumbnail submission form, users now must attach thumbnail to Stickfigure Submission Email

Beta testing is now officially happening! Although Ralph revealed in a humorous meme a not so humorous fact, 11 bugs were already reported. Hopefully they get patched quickly enough that we would have our hands on the sprite update soon, but don’t rush it Ralph.

Some final words of the day
Wow today was a rollercoaster! I actually started to feel sick going through all these tabs, plucking all the info out, and trying to remeber everything major that happened. A little bit of drama that kept some of us engaged while causing no real harm, Site changes (for the better), app progress, a community that is growing and developing (referring to Masterstrike’s account age reaching over 1,500). Today was the ideal Sticknodes day.
