You\’ve got something here that could be VERY good if you tweaked it just a little. The 2nd hit was the best out of all 3, because you could feel the weight from the swing\’s initial position to its eventual hit. It just carries itself very well, and it\’s heightened by the impact felt by the opposition. The first hit however felt quite weak, due to both the lacking impact felt from the opposition and the swing not going far enough and stopping a little too quickly. It could use a little more anticipation, but it\’s fine on that aspect. In terms of improving the first hit, I suggest that you make the opposition flow with it in a way, and increase its knockback. Also, try not to have the punch stop too quickly and make it flow more too, as it feels quite rigid. The 3rd hit suffers from similar issues to the 1st one. Try fixing those issues and replicating what went well with the 2nd hit, and you\’ll do something REALLY good

Should people be credited for the use of their stickfigures in an animation or an art piece, and to what extent? Is the prospect of credit nullified due to the fact alone that said stickfigure was posted to a website where they can be downloaded for free? Where does the line start, if there even is a line?
(not a genuine question I have, just feel like starting conversation)-
a part of me says yes because you made it, but on the other hand you posted on the site for the soul purpose of people using
being mad/upset about it is like making a meme template, then getting mad/upset at people for using said template

This just made me remember some dude on YouTube who put one of my effects in his pack. Ended up snowballing into a huge deal, he made a video on me and everything (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QH4o2wSESos). And it was all because he mixed up two situations and then misunderstood my points. So he basically didn’t get any of it and then tried to put that messed-up viewpoint in the video so his fans would think he was in the right. Partially why I don’t upload effects anymore.

My opinion:
“ Should people be credited for the use of their stickfigures in an animation or an art piece, and to what extent?”
Yes, I believe in most cases a person should be credited for the stick figure they made. If it’s in a game the end credits or description. If it’s a video then in the description, comments, or if there’s end credits then end credits. Personally I will try and credit everyone who’s figure I use in the future.“Is the prospect of credit nullified due to the fact alone that said stickfigure was posted to a website where they can be downloaded for free? Where does the line start, if there even is a line?”
Personally, unless the person outright says they don’t need to be credited, it’s generally the right thing to do. I think it’s most important to credit when it comes to someone’s original figure/character. So say they made an OC or made a new type of weapon figure, that’s when it’s most important. If it’s just some random object or a well known character it’s not as important but it’s just a nice thing to do.
Now if the game is for profit, or the video is on a large channel (let’s go with 100k subscribers) then permission should be had from the creator unless out right said. The creator is relying on this persons creation to make a profit so I see it no different then if it was a comic book character or movie character. Of course again, the original creator may say they don’t want credit and/or don’t need any cut of profit, which is also okay.
In the end, I think it’s just best to credit anyone who’s stuff you used assuming your posting it anywhere. And if the figure used is in a creation which profit is involved, then I think it’s a must to ask. I know I wouldn’t want Flame or any other character I’ve made used in a game or large creators video if it’s for profit and they didn’t ask me (assuming Flame isn’t just there for a quick cameo).
