OC Doodles from last night

Tara V2

Hi, I finished the new base and made Tara again, so here’s the figure:

The old one sucks, and this new one doesn’t suck as much but it’s definitely an improvement. I noticed a lot of errors on my old figures, so that’s why I’m trying out a new base to see if works better or if I should just continue building off the old one (Which is kinda what I’m doing they’re pretty much the same besides some added limbs and corrected proportions)

Anyways here’s a comparison of the old vs new figure:

Pretty much the same colors and stuff, just tweaked it (a lot). Like the legs, oh my god my figures have such long shins and big ass feet so I definitely needed to fix that. Also I just did not like the head on the old figure so at first I just wanted to fix the head, but then ended up fixing everything because I was already there so why not finish it.

Anyways that’s all, gonna experiment some more with this base, cya!!!

Anyways, cool thing I’m doing rn: Making a new base after TWO YEARS!!! I feel like I’ve been limiting myself, since I’m scared of improving and thinking everything I’ve worked so hard on sucks now. But I don’t really care anymore lmao so uhhhh yeah.

[NEW BASE NOW INCLUDES]

1: A third torso segment!! I realized the torso on all my figures is only two nodes, which I learned is, inaccurate. Drawing helped me learn a lot more about anatomy so that’s pretty cool.

2: Shoulders!!!! Omg!! No more floating arms connected to the body!!!

3: Actually correctly proportioned legs. This one was a bit disappointing to figure out. In all the years I’ve been here, not a single person has said that the legs on my figures were just… wrong. The calves on the leg of original base was like almost twice the size as the thighs, even though the thigh and calf are supposed to be the same size (mostly). The shin was like the size of a whole arm and I’m just now figuring out that that is in fact, wrong!!

You guys need to give me feedback more often, if not I might just miss stuff for another 2 years.

Anyways that’s all, here’s a little wip of the base, and yes, I’m remaking Tara with it because the old Tara figure I uploaded sucks, and I wanna do my favorite brawler justice, but yeah uhhhh.. have a looksie:
