Boot Emoji Review: Part 1

Decided to split it up to be 5 each so its not one long post, and the page was in dark mode so that’s why the images are like that. Anyways, lets begin rating companies’ renditions of boots shall we?

Simple brown boot with a flat shape, I’m assuming the line on the shaft is supposed to be a zipper but looks more like a piece of tape. Not bad, but not great either, 5/10.

White and black boot with much more detail, you can even see the inside of it. It has a more curved shape and comes with an actual zipper, has some gradient and makes it look less dull and more detailed. Very pretty, 8/10.

More of a light brown boot with a darker outsole, good shape, a zipper with the chain visible, and it even has some shadows and texture to it. It looks much more realistic than the previous boot, to me, it looks like a 3D model of a boot instead of a 2D image. Excellent, 9/10.

Facebook wanted to be different and make an ankle boot instead of a knee-high one, they even made the boot face the opposite direction. The boot itself is alright, it has good shading, a nice shape, and is unique from the others. 7/10.

Skype’s boot is pretty similar to Twitter’s, it has a more orange hue, some more curvature and a slider for the zipper. Just like Twitter’s boot, its basic but not bad, 6/10.

To revive this group I’m going to be reviewing every boot emoji, inspiration comes from an image I saw of an entomologist rating ant emojis, so I thought it would be fun to do the same.
