Have you had any experiences with the paranormal , or you think you did ?

Do you fully believe in it , are you somewhat skeptical or do you think it’s all false ?

      2021-02-03 18:55:29 UTC 2
    • Not really, but I swear to god most days I hear random words spoken even if nobody is around. It mostly consists of my name, something I heard earlier, etc. it mostly happens in a quiet environment with only my thoughts, and sometimes it sounds too real to be fake, making me confused when I hear my brother ask me something, only to see he’s not in the room, but is sleeping in bed. Freaks me out sometimes.

    • I used to see someone everything I went to the school restroom

It looked like a greenish pale , gaunt and lanky man , with sunken details and a slouched posture , he had a receding hairline and overall looked messy , he always looked sad , and there was never a employee that looked like that , neither working there or even a past employee , I’ve never seen anyone that looks like him

At my elementary school , the school had a hallway for like restrooms and cleaning rooms , all separate from the clases , and not many people went there . The mechanical like generators and temperature stuff was always humming a creepy ass howl

I randomly saw the man peeking through the windows of the rooms , randomly , from either a storage room , to the janitors supplies

I sometimes feel like it’s near to today , at my home , but I don’t really give a shit anymore

I also tend to hear random people call my name

My parents , old friends , and even random people that like I at most said hi too and never saw again

So you know how if you see a shade its like a piece of pitch blackness standing there? Well imagine that but a milky white. Like it was not emitting light but imagine shade but a white. I don’t know how to describe it. It must have been a dream but I saw it again 2 years later in the hallway of my house.

one time me and my sister was in my room talking about something,I can’t remember because it was years ago, bit we BOTH saw a tall man run into my sister’s room

Another time my sisters called me into the hallway and my mom’s door knob was shaking…no one was in the room…it stopped when she opened (pretty stupid move if u ask me)

Third and last one was I was in my room and I thought I saw my nephew run to the side of my Brother’s bed but then when I called out to him, My Brother walked in and said he was playing the game

To answer your question yes I believe in ghost…I can understand if you don’t because at first when I was a kid, I was skeptical about it

and I remember it made me feel really uneasy for a minute because it was dead silent and it didn’t look like it was moving or that my parents were in the car, and so I thought that somehow I got moved into the car without my parents, in the middle of the night while I was sleeping

BUT if you want something else, I remember the time when I was in primary school, I was playing a game on P.E and then I ended up getting mad, jumping about and then I sprained my ankle,

I had to stay at my house until the ankle was healed, the thing on my leg kept annoying me so I had to remove it, but I decided to put a towel on it to keep myself hidden but I got caught.

    • Like, not necessarily, but I’ve had so many mediocre injuries that I basically don’t feel pain, so imma just rapid-fire some random ones that actually kinda hurt

Tripped and skinned the shit out of my knee in 1st grade running around during recess, hurt a lot because I was a first grader

Accidentally fell off my scooter in 1st grade and slid down a steep ass hill on the sidewalk all the way down to the street, at least 10-15 seconds of sliding down, had scrapes in all sorts of places afterward

Got hit in the head with a stray metal lunchbox that fell from the sky in kindergarten, had a big ol bump on my head for a week or so

Hit in the face with a tetherball in 3rd grade, kinda hurt for while

Popped my kneecap in 3rd grade when I tried jumping from a chair to the couch and landed face first into cold hard tile.

Fell out of top bunk bed in 4th grade, hit head on dresser and hit back on bed

Tripped while running late to class in 6th grade, head hit iron bars full speed, then landed in mud

Ran into a kid who was at least 300 pounds and twice my size while running late to class in 7th grade, flew about three feet into the air, 10 feet back, and landed headfirst into a concrete pillar, stabbing myself in the back with a pencil that was in my bag on the way down

7th grade, I slipped in a puddle on a rainy day because I was running late to class, got winded, same 300 pound behemoth tripped on me and landed on my gut

In 7th grade after school I dropped a 20 pound dumbell onto my foot

In 8th grade I sliced my finger with an Exacto knife trying to make something

In 8th grade I burned myself with a recently acquired 900 degree woodburner trying to see if it was hot yet(it was)

Last month I dropped an 8 foot long 2×4 onto my head, then fell onto my foot

4 days ago I received several cuts trying to deconstruct a tape measure

36 seconds ago I slammed my finger into my desk trying to type this

And that’s all the somewhat painful injuries I can remember!

As for sticknodes, It’s pretty important to me. I would take a bullet in the chest for a lot of the users here. I’m also really attached to animating in the app itself and the things I created. Really filled a void in my life, which is creating animations. I was obsessed with claymation/flipnotes when I was younger, and sticknodes fulfilled this purpose with flying colors.

Do you use your own custom theme for Stick Nodes?

    2
  • Heres my question.

Do you have expectations for 2021 to be a better year? Why or why not?

    6
    • No
2021 is going to be the 7th layer of hell

      2020-12-30 18:12:25 UTC 3
    • No, it’s already shaping up to be similar if not the exact same as 2020 especially the early months

      2020-12-30 18:12:36 UTC 3
    • Yes, I have a few things planned:

      – Exercise and training, I have better equipment now so not only has my motivation increased but also the range of exercises I can partake in has increased.

      – Submit more stickfigures, earn more badges.

      – Complete some challenges in video games and maybe even record some videos of me completing said challenges. The games will vary from Terraria, Minecraft, Batman, Lego games etc.

      – Study more in my free time for two reasons, 1 becoming smarter and 2 to pass the time.

      – Release stuff based off SNCA / actual SNCA content

      – Practice wood carving and making skills, my brother received equipment for Christmas and his Birthday and let me use his equipment.

      – A couple other more personal things like working on my relationship with the person I care dearly about.

      That sums it up roughly.

      ———————————————————————————————————————

As for why I think 2021 will be better, looking at it logically, Covid is going away but new lockdowns are still happening so we’re basically taking the reward of free time while remaining moderately safe and in the right direction because of the vaccines. Not only that but many people will be happy to go back to normal and if you think about it, that happiness will rub off on others and I feel like generally people will be happier and accomplish more this upcoming year.

  • Question of the day:

Has anyone you know or yourself, tested positive for Covid-19?

    6
    • Recently my family has been tested and the results came back positive, I had begun to feel unwell three days ago so realistically speaking, I have Covid.

Because i’m younger than them it isn’t as bad, i’m not exactly a kid but I still have been holding out well enough. The only downside I see to myself having Covid is the inability to begin exercise and training once again as I had planned to once Christmas was over but now that I have Covid, becoming too tired or too much blood rushing to my head could cause me to pass out and I can’t risk that when handling equipment etc.

The current symptoms feel like a bad common cold, nothing severe luckily, I hope to make a speedy recovery. It may very well be a common cold but that seems unlikely, I possess symptoms of Covid, just to a lesser degree.

  • Question of the day, festive edition:

What are you getting for Christmas, and what are you most excited about getting / doing?

    1
    • I’ll be getting some clothing, exercise equipment and some other things technology / game related.

I look forward to starting fresh after Christmas and exercising again, it’s been a while since i’ve done it consistently and honestly exercising is such a great feeling, it’s underrated and hardly mentioned, most people dread the idea of it but it has benefits besides appearances and general healthiness.

Me and my brother are both getting one OculusQuest2 (I can finally play blade and sorcery again holy shit I’m excited, my brother has a vr ready laptop)

And that’s literally about it. I kinda wanted a bike because I love the shit out of the area I live in, and enjoy riding in it, usually autumn is the best time for it, honestly I don’t think it’d be worth it and should wait to get new tires for my bike.

guess ill do it on this reply then, for phantom blood well i just dont relate to jonathan much since he became similar to the stereotypical never gonna give up guy until he died (liked that part tho, truly shows hes a gentleman) and jojo lion for the main part of not really being sure about it tbh

          now about my favourite parts
for diu its mainly because i love the stands in the part, and i like the interactions each character has (especially josuke being a “pro” gamer lol) theo nly thing i didnt like much is many of the characters are underused and how it became friendship is unbreakable
for part 3, most because of the fact it gives me huge nastolgia
for part 5, i like how it really emphiasizes on how much od a deep meaning it could give (about fate) seems pretty edgy but also a really cool concept
          for part 2, tequila joseph
for part 7, i like the overall concept and such tbh its a really good way to restart the story
and finally part 6, idk it just doesnt feel right and sorta has the same gripe from part 4 which is the underuse/ nerf a characters (cough cough jotaro cough cough)

edit: just noticed every else doesnt like part 4, thats pretty sad as a josuke simp

    • I once fell while running up stairs and hit my knee against it, the stair was made of solid brick and had plastic edges, I feel hard enough for the plastic to make an awkward dent shape on my leg, I went into my lesson thinking the pain was just ache pains until I started feeling liquid pouring down, later that lesson I looked down and my trouser leg and shoe was covered in blood, I limped into my mothers car and had gone home.

I arrived home and we checked and my entire leg was covered in blood and still bleeding, I needed to go to hospital to get it sorted but ended up waiting a long time until eventually I was seen and had it sewn up.

I still have the dent there, i’ll post a picture of it tomorrow.

As for am I disturbed by blood, no not at all. Most of the time with injuries I power through it or straight up don’t notice it.

    • sorry for late reply but, my actual first stickfigure creation project was making Neos and a ton of biological Brother characters. (the base of these stks has since been gone) new innovations and constant searching for horn designs were happening plus the silver you see nowadays wasn’t always there. i added it to signal that the ones with the silver were elite elemental masters called “Core Masters” and the rest after the core masters were either stuff created from those elements like music or fusions of elements like storms or volcanoes. then i had to update the stks into new N3XT style (the excalibur sonic used here was used as a base: http://sticknodes.com/sticks/sonic-and-the-black-knight-others-pack-zip/) i planned to do all of my characters but couldn’t find the motivation to do so…though i did make 5 new characters: Darkheart, Blast3r, Du3list, Drill3r, and Wukongo. i was going to make a 6th named Lupina but i like the others i couldn’t find motivation, also this was when i added the forehead and chest gems for my characters which core masters have both while regular one have only forehead gems. then, K-zilla my bestest fren entered my life and gave my main OC a new mech and design..twice. which now i have planned to move all my OCs into his Fictionversian (name of Neos’s species provided by me) base starting with the easiest to do: Jitsu. and here we have now, where i have Neos and Darkheart both in a style made by K-zilla which i have dubbed 3VO.

A lot of the groups that had “impact” on the community were in their prime, and I generally enjoyed it for the most part.

My opinion now is the website has kinda just become a shell of its former self. There’s a lot of new and annoying users, and it’s just not as…fun. I still enjoy the community, but if we could go back to 2018-2019, I think I would enjoy it better.

Now of course, even though this place is not perfect, people still complain somehow. Like, some people are saying this place is “toxic” or “was better in the old days” needs to learn to think before they speak honestly (not saying that in any sort of aggressive way btw, I’m just saying that they should look back on how toxic the site was pre 2019.) In the end, Ralph has made a nice and tight knit community that I think I’ll never abandon.

There are still stick nodes stuff but its not the majority of the posts like it used to be.

      2020-11-23 03:53:00 UTC 5
    • Man, my opinion on the site is really, really complicated and conflicting. On one hand, I remember the site when I first joined being pretty okay, but there was a lot of explicit toxicity and large scale drama, and I was the annoying new user that nobody cared about. But now, there isn’t nearly as much drama and targeted anger, but there are a ton of new users who are annoying and do things unrelated to Stick Nodes on here. The thing is, I remember being exactly like that. I remember being the annoying young user that’s only 11 years old and is still annoying and obnoxious, with the attention span of a hamster. I know exactly why they are doing what they do, but I am still bothered by it. And then you also have to think about my reputation on the site. I used to be fairly unknown, only being recognized by a few people who liked my Dragon Ball Z stickfigures. But as I improved, more people on the site knew who I was, and they would ask me to do things for them, thinking I was some kind of artist who could make anything for them. Its gotten better since I started uploading less, but not by much. Overall, there are too many factors for me to think about, and this site holds a weird place in my opinion.

  • Question of the day:

What motivates you, in other words what determines your decisions, what are your motives, your desires?

    • Honestly, I don’t know. I think it may be the fact I want to live my life and find out what will happen in it, how will my life progress. I have no one who motivates more, or anything, but I also don’t feel like I should give up, if that makes sense. As for my desires, I just want to be good in the things I enjoy, I talk shit and say “Oh yeah I’m fucking great at so and so” but really, I’m not, so I strive to be better at them, animating, gaming whatever. I don’t care about school, or success in life, but I do want to get through it all.

Understandable, this tends to be the common motives amongst people and there is nothing wrong with that.

but when I was *younger* and just animating for shits and giggles, that’s a hard question

i honestly enjoyed it, and was always making *something*, i guess because it was just fun and allowed me to take all the cool fight/action scenes every kid has in their head and (at least try to) animate it

    • I have none, I’ve stopped making animation and stickfigures mainly due to the fact I’m busy and I’m bad at it.
