Good morning/afternoon/evening to you all, it is August 22, 2021. This is my 1,000 day account anniversary on the site. I wanted to do a statement for this occasion. It is going to be lengthy, so I’m sorry in advanced for this long read.

It’s been a long road to this point. I did start Stick Nodes a little before I used the site, however I did not do anything of note, only test animations. Once I joined the site however, I saw the creations that people were making and started my path on stick figure creation. My first figures were not to good. Mostly being traces of different images like the Pokémon logo and the Boo from Mario.

I eventually learned more about Stick Nodes and started working on a character, you may know who I’m talking about. At first, I took already existing figures and did some edits to them, it helped me get the base idea down (they were never submitted). Next, I made a figure independently, it was never finished, but was the first iteration of the character you now know as Flame. It is in the Flame Classics pack, which is out today. You can see the original idea for Flame was different with few similarities. Next I took a break and then learned more about Stick Nodes, leading to Flame Version 0, also in the Flame Classics pack. It wasn’t the best figure but was a start.

Later I discovered Nicky’s base, and Flame finally took off. I made the figure and posted it to the site. With the help of the community I made a few fixes and it really inspired me.

After that point I had started to meet some friends, you know who you are. Leading to Flame version 2. It was a big step forward, I learned about shading and how to add more realistic features to a figure.

You may be wondering, what about all my other characters. Well, after Version 2, a lot happened. The modern idea for Corrupted finally emerged, with lots of changes still occurring to this day. Mix-deck was soon to come.

Now for Version 3 of Flame, the one I am known for. It had a lot of changes, and took a while for me to make. I got help from a lot of people. Without their help, Flame would look different, and likely worse. So thank you Gigan, LuLu, and Craz for your help with him. It was also the first time I truly separated away from the Nicky base with Flame.

Now to today. Flame Version 4 is almost complete. I made him from scratch. I did of course get help from Matt steady with the animated hair. Of course there’s a lot more characters and figures in general I’ve made. But Flame is at this point my mascot, so I felt I should talk about my story using him.

There have been bumps in the road, with a couple of deleted figures and scrapped projects/series, however, I would say it’s all worth it. I’m pretty proud of everything I’ve built up towards. I didn’t do it alone of course, so thank you, everyone who’s helped me get to this point. Without this amazing help from the community, I don’t think my series, characters, or even my creative spirt would exist. It’s truly an honor to have worked and spoken to you all.

Gigan. Honestly, it’s been a real pleasure to call you a friend. You’ve helped me more then I can count, from the littlest of critiques I asked you for all the way to practically creating my way of figure creation. Not to mention all the figures you’ve helped me with. It’s been an amazing journey and I don’t think I’ll be able to thank you enough for all the help you’ve given me. The Posse has so much potential and don’t ever hesitate to ask for help with that or anything else. I can’t write enough to express my gratitude towards you.

Next, is K-Zilla.
You’ve been such a big inspiration to me. I’ve used your figures as guides in the past as to what a good quality figure should look like. You could call it my golden standard. It’s what I strive for. I can’t say how much I’ve used your style to further my own. I learned so many techniques from you. Even something as simple as that sword you made for me really helped me a whole lot, you couldn’t imagine. I’m really looking forward to what your thombstone series has next, good luck.
