🔘 What is an entity?
Essentially just a fancy word for character or individual, you might also see the word ‘ Variant ‘ come up a lot which is just another term for a version of an original character or being.

🔘 What is an entity file?
An entity file is simply just an OC post- documenting key details about your character in a concise, aesthetic format.

🔘 How do I choose which template to use?
This will strictly depend on your personal needs, as a point of reference, however, it can be noted that the complexity of the formats starts from, ’Concept’, then ‘ Fundamental ‘, followed by ’ Detailed ‘ and finally ’ Intricate ‘.

🔘 What kind of characters can I document?
You have the creative freedom to document any characters that are your own, whilst we do offer the opportunity to re-make other characters, you must make sure that this character variant is substantially different enough from the original both visually, descriptively, ETC.

🔘 Do I have to fill out every detail?
No, you do not, however if you use the varying complex templates, it is to be used as much as possible. There is a quality standard, so try and give it enough effort to make it worth posting about in the first place.

🔘 Can I alter some of the visual details of the templates?
To an extent, yes. Overall, however, it should be known that the template is to be preserved as much as possible to preserve the key details of it, too much alteration will mean confusing those who read your post, with the chance of the post’s removal. 🔘 What should I write if I don’t know / or cannot fill out one of the sections?
You may ignore that section or put a ‘ N / A ‘ or a cross ❌. Whatever you choose, just so long as it’s clear the section isn’t filled out.

🔘 Can I write my post from a different perspective than my own?
Absolutely, if you intend to construct the post as if you were an in-universe character or generally just from a POV different from your own, that is allowed. The only concern that need be had is whether you fill out the sections appropriately- in enough detail.
