Bald Bastard Pt.2
Still here, still putting in some time when I can to re-make the yellow fellow.
I’m pretty pleased with how it’s coming out so far, I even went to the efforts briefly of adding facial features to see how it looks for reference and honestly.. it’s pretty scary actually.
Thing is, facial features I don’t see myself adding to lemon anytime soon, it would ruin the continuity in the design. That aside, dabbling in it is useful in understanding where to position different areas.
One more thing too, is that I want to make some adjustments to make the face bolder, because at the moment, despite the shading looking good in my opinion, it’s too faint and needs some work, which I need to figure out aside from just bumping up the colour range ( Which I will also do )

Right I think fits more of the overall build of the character where the hand wraps are loose and the only other support is the wrist wrap. It makes the character more intimidating as if to suggest that the strength alone is enough and that the wraps wouldn’t be necessary.
Although..
The left is good because it completes the clothing a little better, it doesn’t look as intimidating but as René said, it does provide more yellow and compliments the rest of the figure, at least as far as clothing goes.

Progress on the bald bastard continues..
Honestly, I really like how it’s already coming together. I’m trying not to go too crazy with fine details, so I’ve been honing in on some essential shading whilst trying to incorporate bolder lines and shapes as well as just making the shading a little larger so it covers more area.
I don’t want to jinx anything but I honestly feel like this process is moving along nicely without too much trouble despite doing something as exhaustive as shading without any clear shapes.
Still a ways to go with this of course, but here’s a little something that I liked the look of.

If homosexuality is a sin, and people are accountable for their sins, and you think being gay is a phase and not an entire lifetime commitment based on how you feel, then how are you not homophobic?
There is no reality in which hating something that a person is is not offensive to whomever it is that is that something.
If I’m gay, what you’re saying is you don’t hate me, but you hate being gay? But I am gay ( in this example ) ,therefore that would count as you hating me, because part of who I am is gay, therefore you hate a part of me.

I don’t think it’s the same sentiment, you’re confusing a mutual set of opinions with forced opinions.
Saying you don’t really understand it but that’s fine and homosexual people can do as they please is okay enough I suppose, but making claims that it’s not what these people truly are and saying that as some sort of fact is problematic.
You need to try and be aware that regardless of what’s right and wrong, an individuals happiness and right to how they choose to live their lives- given it’s not hurting anyone, is the only thing that really matters.
If you had someone from a religion telling you that you should be cast aside because your hair is brown instead of black or something just as ridiculous, you’d be just as upset as anyone else when you make claims at a persons preferences, despite knowing nothing about their experiences or their struggles.
