True, I honestly think to any of these debates all it comes down to is acknowledgement for each other, people who reside within the LGBTQ and affiliate with similar ideologies and the people who don’t because they don’t understand why anyone would.

I think being able to bridge the gap and be able to find a middle ground we all can be happy with.

Obviously it all comes down to understanding and we can only do so much but a lot of people’s ideals on love for example, is shaped by the media and I wouldn’t say anyone is really fully attentive to the extent of it and what it really means, whatever it means. The same thing might apply with representation for let’s say trans people, if there were more media out there, films, songs, shows etc it might normalise it a bit more, especially if portrayed in a conveying fair way.

People get caught over themselves too often and really hate the idea of not being accepted by everyone, so nobody can win. Nobody will tolerate a loss to their ego enough to have some self-awareness and to put their pre-conceived notions aside temporarily for the sake of potentially affirming new ones, not for the sake of just themselves but also for others.

I’m kind of rambling a bit here but even for me, I’ve shown signs before and am not fully turned away from the idea that I may be bisexual, but the truth is I know where I stand in what I like and who I like and so it’s not that I don’t know, it’s that I don’t need to know, or more-so I don’t need to label it. I do what pleases me and I can be aware of if it, one way or another. I’m happy to leave it there since that works for me romantically etc. I’m not saying I am bisexual, I generally don’t like to label it which would probably put as another label but I forget the name. In any case that’s not what it’s about for me, I just do what feels right for me.
